How to deposit at Playmaster from a phone

Most deposits at Playmaster from Kenya will be made the same way people play: on a phone, often on a data bundle, sometimes on a shaky signal. This guide covers how to deposit in that setting — which methods to look for, how the confirmation step works, and how to avoid the two mistakes that cause most deposit problems: paying twice and paying from an account in someone else's name. The details of each method are on its own page, linked from the table below and from the payments overview.

Go to the Playmaster cashier

Deposit steps

  1. Log in to your Playmaster account and open the cashier, then the deposit tab.
  2. Scroll the whole method list and pick a method registered in your own name; note the minimum and maximum shown next to it.
  3. Enter the amount in shillings and read the confirmation screen, including any fee line.
  4. Approve the payment where your method asks for it — on your phone, in your bank's app or in your crypto wallet — not in a field on the casino page.
  5. Keep the SMS, bank reference or transaction hash until the balance shows the deposit.

The table lists the methods worth looking for, not a confirmed menu: which ones appear, and the limits attached, depend on your account, so check the cashier itself.

Minimum deposit

Each method in the cashier carries its own minimum, and that number is the only one that counts. Do not confuse it with the minimum stake: the Gambling Control Act 2025 sets the minimum online stake at 20 shillings (s.71), which is the size of a bet, not the size of a deposit. A bonus, if you take one, usually has its own qualifying amount above the cashier minimum.

The deposit methods offered to you can differ from those offered to another player, because the cashier builds its list per account and per country. Check it before planning a top-up rather than relying on a list from anywhere else.

Credit speed

Mobile money and card deposits are normally credited once the payment is approved on your side; bank transfers follow banking days; crypto waits for network confirmations. The amount credited may be lower than the amount you sent because Kenya's 5% excise duty on money credited to a gaming wallet is withheld by the operator (Finance Act 2025, from 1 July 2025, retained in 2026).

Good to know

After depositing: play and withdraw

Once the balance shows the deposit you can open any game. If you plan to cash out later, think about it now: withdrawals usually go back along the route you deposited with, and an account that is verified early pays out with fewer pauses. The withdrawal guide explains the other half of the process.

If a deposit hasn't shown up

First check whether the money actually left: your SMS, bank app or wallet history will say. If it did not, nothing is lost — simply try again when the signal is better. If it did and the balance is still empty after the normal wait for that method, contact Playmaster's support with the amount, time, method and your reference code. Do not repeat the payment while the first one is unresolved.

Every route above leads to the same balance, so the choice is about convenience and records rather than about the games you can open. Mobile money is usually the closest thing to an instant deposit for a phone player, while a bank transfer is the slower way to fund account balances. In every case the methods and limits depend on your account — check the cashier before you pay.
