Wagering Requirements at Playmaster
A wagering requirement — also called turnover, rollover or playthrough — is the total of bets you must place before bonus balance becomes withdrawable. Banners state it as a multiple. That number means little until you translate it into the thing you actually do on a phone: spins, rounds and minutes. This page does the translation. The multiples on live Playmaster offers are written in each offer's terms; the figures below are illustrations only.

Take an invented example: a KSh 1,000 bonus with a 25x requirement on the bonus alone. You must place KSh 25,000 of bets. At a KSh 20 stake — the minimum online stake under Kenya's Gambling Control Act 2025 — that is 1,250 spins. At three spins a minute with quick-spin on, it is roughly seven hours of play. If the same 25x applies to bonus plus deposit, the figures double. Run this calculation for every offer before you accept it.
Wins and losses do not reduce the target. Every qualifying bet counts once, whatever its result, until the total is reached or the balance runs out.
Game contribution
Games count at different rates. Slots commonly count in full. Crash and other instant games are often counted at a reduced rate or excluded, because a player can cash out at a low multiplier and cycle stakes with little risk; live and table games are frequently reduced for a similar reason. Look for the contribution table in the offer before choosing what to play. A bet on a game that counts at a tenth adds only a tenth of its stake to the counter.
Tracking your progress
- At the moment of credit, write down the bonus, the multiple, the base (bonus or bonus plus deposit) and the deadline.
- Work out the total and the number of spins at your stake.
- Check the progress bar in the bonus section after each session rather than estimating.
- If the remaining spins no longer fit the days left, decide calmly whether to stop rather than raising the stake.
Mistakes that void bonuses
- A single bet above the stake cap — easy on a slot that remembers your last bet size.
- Playing excluded games with bonus funds.
- Asking for a withdrawal before the requirement is met, which often cancels the bonus and its winnings.
- Letting the deadline pass with the counter unfinished.
An honest appraisal
Volatility decides how the requirement feels. A high-volatility slot pays rarely but sometimes large, so a small bonus balance can be gone after a few dozen spins, long before the target. A lower-volatility game returns smaller wins more often and keeps the balance alive for more spins. The expected loss per spin is set by the game's return to player, not by its volatility, so neither choice "beats" the requirement — the steadier one simply makes the deadline more reachable.
Requirement vs rebate: don't confuse the two
"Turnover" is used for two opposite things. A turnover requirement is a debt you must play off. A turnover rebate is a small payment back on what you staked. Both are counted from the same bets, so a rebate can quietly refund part of the cost of clearing a requirement — but only if both are active on your account and the rebate counts bonus bets, which the terms will tell you.
How wagering works
How wagering works, step by step: the bonus lands, a target is attached, each qualifying bet adds its stake multiplied by the game's contribution rate, and when the counter reaches the target the bonus converts to cash. If the balance reaches zero first, the offer simply ends. Understanding how wagering works also means knowing the order in which money is used — many operators spend your own deposit first and the bonus second — which the terms describe.
Time limit
Each requirement has a time limit, usually counted in days. Plan against it the way you plan your data bundle: divide the spins you need by the sessions you have. If the time limit is shorter than your normal pace allows, either play more than you intended or let the bonus lapse. The second option is often the cheaper one, and it is always allowed.

Bonus Wagering Explained Step by Step
Bonus wagering explained in one line: playthrough is the total you must stake before bonus money becomes withdrawable, calculated as the bonus (or bonus plus deposit) times the stated factor, and tracked automatically in your account.
Games feed the counter at different rates — slots usually in full, crash, live and table games often at a fraction or not at all. Finish before the deadline, because an unfinished playthrough removes the bonus and the winnings tied to it.
