Refer a Friend at Playmaster

A refer a friend scheme pays a reward when someone you invite opens an account and meets the scheme's conditions. Whether such a scheme is running at Playmaster, and what it pays, is shown in the account area or on the promotions page; this guide explains how referral offers are usually built and where they go wrong. It also says something most referral pages leave out: inviting people to gamble is a decision about them, not only about a reward.

How refer a friend works

The refer a friend mechanic runs on a personal link or code tied to your account. Your friend registers through it, passes the age and identity check, and completes the qualifying action — typically a first deposit and some play. Only then is the reward credited, usually as bonus balance with its own requirement. Inviting someone who already has an account, using your own second account or sharing a device with the new account typically cancels the reward for both sides.

Invite friend the right way

If you invite friend contacts, invite people who already play and would choose to open an account anyway. Send the link privately rather than posting it in large groups: mass sharing rarely produces qualifying sign-ups and can get a referral account flagged. Ask them to read the welcome offer and the bonus terms before they deposit, and never send an invite friend link to someone under 18 or to someone who has told you they are trying to stop gambling.

Terms worth checking first

Is it worth it?

A referral reward is worth having when it follows naturally from a recommendation you would have made anyway. It stops being worth it when it nudges someone else into a deposit they had not planned. Remember too that Kenyan law does not allow betting on credit: a friend who would need a loan to make the qualifying deposit is not someone to invite.

A note for phone players

Referral links are usually shared through messaging apps, and that is also where copycat links circulate. Tell your friend to check that the page opens on the operator's real domain before entering any details, and to type nothing into a page that asks for a mobile money PIN. A genuine registration asks for personal details and later an ID document — never for a PIN or a one-time code you received for a payment.

Your friend should also know what to expect from a referred account: the same age check, the same identity documents and the same bonus rules as any other new player. Nothing about joining through a link changes the requirement on their welcome offer or speeds up their first withdrawal.

Referral Bonus: Invite a Friend

A referral bonus rewards you for bringing in a new player: you share a personal link, your friend registers and deposits, and an invite friend bonus is credited — to one or both accounts, depending on the scheme.

The reward is normally released only after the referred player has wagered a set amount. Self-referrals and duplicate accounts are forbidden and lead to the reward being removed, so invite real friends who are adults and already play.
